Bob and The Whale - Create a Gift Card

Bob and The Whale Gift Card
Follow the Simple Steps below to create a unique Gift Card for someone special!
 1.   Print off your chosen elements from the Bob and The Whale PDF Booklets directly onto A4 card. I am using a Canon printer, which also has the option to print borderless.
2.     Using a Bonefolder and Embossing Board create a DL Tri Fold with your printed paper.
3.     Cut out the elements from the design sheet.
4.     Matt onto a contrasting paper with double sided tape.
5.     Next stick your toppers onto the main card using double sided tape or foam pads for extra dimension.
6.     Lay your chosen gift card or money over the inner right hand side of the card. Using a pencil mark points across the corners where you will create your slots.
7.    Using a ruler and a craft knife line up the two dots and cut across.
8.   Your Gift should now slot securely into place and you still have the middle panel free to write your message!
The results can be endless with our unique Craft sheets, the only other things you need is a basic craft kit and your imagination! From beautiful Christmas and Birthday cards to gift cards, tags and even wrapping paper don't be afraid to experiment! Defying Gravity

If you love your musicals then the award winning show Wicked is a must to go and see. Based on Gregory Maguire's best selling novel, the musical has a whole new story to be tell about the land of Oz. So happy to finally get to see this at the Victoria Apollo theatre in London at the weekend. A very clever storyline told by an incredible cast with their amazing voices! Next on the long list would have to be The Lion King I think :)

What the duck!!

We recently delivered four framed original paintings to The Showcase Gallery in Richmond, North Yorkshire to be exhibited over the next few months. The Showcase Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting new work from exciting artists based in Yorkshire and North East England. The gallery boasts an eclectic mix of quality originals and prints.

“You could say we have northern roots, but a global spirit.” Lulu & Kelly Fidler

Over the May bank holiday weekend, with the sun shining, it seemed the perfect time to pop along to the Showcase Gallery with some family after a scenic country road trip. We certainly timed it right as we also happened to fall upon Richmond's Duck Club Race Day. This Traditional event see's around 2,000 (numbered) Plastic Ducks let loose into the River Swale. A popular family event in the town!

After some fish and chips by the river, the best way to end the day, was a look in one of our favourite shops in the town - York House. This amazing shop features seemingly endless floors of antiques and unique gifts to rummage through - it's hard not to come away with something new!

Sunshine and Mini Art

It's great to have the lighter nights now as it means more hours of sunlight for painting. Here's a peak at some of our latest original Mini Art, ACEO Cards - my personal favourite would have to be the Little Pig!
